Deoghar, popularly renowned as Baidyanath Dham, is considered as the house of gods and goddesses. This temple is an ancient temple and is a famous Hindu religious destination. Shivganga, situated just 200 meters away from Baidyanath Temple. When Ravana was taking the lingam to Lanka, he felt the urge for relieving himself. He handed over the lingam to a brahmin and went for urination. After relieving himself, he needed to wash his hands and be purified before holding the lingam. When he did not find any water source nearby, he made a blow with his fist on the earth and water came out to form a pond. This pond is now known as Shivaganga.
Trikut, 24 km west of Deoghar, is famous for its hill temples. The hill consists of huge boulders. On the right is a small temple where Goddess Parvati is worshipped. The ropeway - begins its journey from the base station at the foothills to the top of Trikut, about 2,800ft above sea level. Trikut is the source of the River Mayuraksh. You can even trek up to the source.
Tapovan, situated 10 km from the Hotel. There is a temple of Shiva here which is the centre of attraction for pilgrims. The temple of Shiva is called Taponath Mahadeva. A number of caves are found onn this hill. In one of the caves, a Shiva lingam is installed.

Nandan, a small hill on the edge of the town hosts a famous Nandi Temple, beautifully maintained by the local administration. This hill faces the famous Shiv temple. The Nandan pahar has a huge park for children. It also has a ghost house, a shoe-house, a mirror house and a restaurant.
Basukinath(in Dumka Dist), famous for its Shiva Temple. It is situated 43 km from Deoghar near the village of Jarmundi and connected by road. It is an indigenous temple indulging in local art forms.
Naulakha Mandir, located at a distance of 1.5 kms from Hotel, is built to resemble the Ramakrishna Temple in Belur. The Mandir's presiding deities are Radha and Krishna.
Jain Tirthankar Shantinath Temple, belonging to the Digambar sect, is a magnificent structure. A rare library of important manuscripts, books and scriptures are being maintained here. The temple is visited by Jains from all over the world.
